Questions related to "health care"
On a different topic, I'd like to ask you about matters involving health care. Do you have a family doctor whom you regularly see for most of your medical problesm or general health care?
If you don't have an established relationship with a doctor, where do you typically seek medical care when you or a family member becomes ill?
Do you have health insurance coverage?
In the last year, have you delayed or not obtained medical care because your health insurnce wouldn't authorize coverage?

Which party is best for dealing with access to health care?
I'd like to ask a few questions about vaccinations that children get to protect them from diseases like polio, mumps and measles. Most states require kids to receive up top 10 different vaccinations by the time they are five yeara old. Soem parents and researchers say vaccines have side effects that may led to autism, asthma, diabetes, atention deficit disorder and other medical problems. Have you heard about these concerns?
Mostr U.S. health officials urge that children be vaccinated to protect them and to prevent the spead of disease. More than one million children die of measles outside the U.S. every year. Geneally speaking do you think the benefits of immunizations outweigh the risks or do you hae questions about the risks of immunization?
Most states allow children to be exempt from vaccinatons if their parents object for religous reasons. many stats also allow exemptons if parents are philosophically opposed to the vaccinations. Should parents be allowed to exempt their children for philosophical reasons?
There are still outbraks of vaccine-preventable diseases like measlaes and mumps in this country. Unvaccinaed children are eight times more llikely to get measles than thoe who've gotten the full series of shots. Nearly a quarter of the children have not received all recommended shots by the time they are three years old. Is this a very serious public health problem or nnot?
Would you recommend that all children in your family get all recommended vaccinations or would you want your family to ask lots of questons before proceeding wuth vaccinations?
Did you ever go to a hospital because of food poisoning?
Do you think state and local health departments do a good job or not so good a job when it comes to detecting food illnesses and finding the source of food illnesses?
Woould you say you regularly, that is at least once a week, seek out detailed, in-depth information about health questions concerning you and your family?
How useful is Internet on health information?
