Not counting weddngs or funerals how often do you attend religious services. Do you go to religious services more than once a week, about once a week, once or twice a month, a few times a year, seldom or never?

It's common for people to forget the topic of a sermon. But, let me ask, is it possible that you js\ust happened to miss a religious service during the last week, or are you certain you did attend a religous service in the last seven days?

One of the most popular adult books in recent years is Dan Brown's "The DaVinci Code"--a novel that suggests Jesus was married to Mary Magdalene. Do you think it is likely that Jesus was married or do you think Jesus mever married?
The novel also suggests that Jesus and Mary Magdalene had children. Do you think it is likely that Jesus fathered a child or do you think Jesus did not father a child?
Dan Brown also suggests in the novel that religious leaders, especially the Roman Catholic church, have withheld important information about the nature of Jesus. Do you think this is likely or not likely?
I'd also like to ask you a few questions whether you belive there is life after death. Let me start by asking whether you believe in God or a Supreme Being?

Do you believe in an afterlife, that is, that you will have some sort of consciousness after you die?

A lot has been said about human evolution. Which of these three statements best describes what you believe: One, that humans evolved from other animal species through natural selection. Two, that God caused humans to evolve from other species. Or three, that God created the universe and humans in a six-day period?
When it comes to teaching evolution in public schools, which of these two statements best represents what you believe: One, that evolution is what most scientists believe so it should be taught in public science classes. Or two, that scientists are wrong so evolution should not be taught in public school science?
President Bush recently said he believes that the idea of intelligent design, that God played some role in the evolution of humans, should be taught in public schools. Do you think Bush was right or wrong to make this suggestion?

How about when I make the statement, "Jesus was born to a virgin mother." Do you absolutely believe this, mostly believe this or don't believe this?
How about the statement, "Jesus died and physically rose from the dead." Do you absolutely believe this, mostly believe this or don't believe this?
How about, "Jesus was the Son of God." Do you absolutely believe, mostly believe or don't believe this?
How about, "Jesus was divine." Do you absolutely believe, mostly believe or don't believe this.
Also the Christmas holidays are coming. The Gospels of Matthew and Luke both describe that the birth of Jesus was announced by angels. Do you believe angels, that is, some kind of heavenly being who visits earth, in fact exist?

Ash Wednesday this year is on March 5th. Have you ever observed Lent by making changes in your lifestyle during the 40 days before Easter?
Have you ever fasted, that is, have you ever stopped eating food for a few days or even weeks for religious or spiritual reasons?
Which do you think is the more significant holiday, Christmas or Easter?
